A Brief History

With 30 years of performance experience within the music business, Mark Barrie has become renowned for his ability to recreate the unique and instantly identifiable singing voice of one of the most difficult artistes to achieve - that of Barry Gibb, falsetto voice extrordinaire of the legendary Bee Gees.

Mark began performing as Barry Gibb in 1997, and went on to reach the Grand Finals of 'Stars In Their Eyes' in the year 2000, appearing on t.v. shows many times since then, and giving shows in many countries around the world. He has performed at the London Palladium for the world premiere of the Bee Gees West End hit show 'Saturday Night Fever', and has worked along side 70's legends Candi Staton, The Rubettes, Bucks Fizz, The Real Thing, Boney M and 80's stars Chesney Hawkes, Alexander O'Neal, Kenny Thomas, T'Pau, and Kim Wilde amongst many others. He has also appeared on 'Watchdog', 'Lorraine Kelly's 'L.K. Today', 'This Morning' and other prime time shows.

Having firmly established himself as the U.K.'s leading Barry Gibb tribute show, Mark set about adding another music legend, famous for his falsetto prowess, to his reportoire - Frankie Valli. Bursting onto the scene with the Four Seasons in the early 1960s, 'Sherry', 'Big Girls Don't Cry' and many others became instant classics. He achieved worldwide No. 1 status both solo and with the Four Seasons with 'Grease' (written by Barry Gibb incidentally!) and 'December '63 (Oh! What A Night), respectively.

Mark launched this tribute in 2003 and it has since become in great demand, very popular with both young and old. Since the show was created he has had the privilege of working along side such legends of the 1960's as P.J. Proby, The Union Gap, The Merseybeats, The Cufflinks, The Searchers, The Fourmost, The Fortunes, The Tremeloes, and The Ivy League, and hopefully many more to come.

'Not Guilty - the tribute' pairs Mark as Barry Gibb with the premier tribute to Barbra Streisand, Tina Law, in a slick and entertaining presentation centered around the landmark iconic album from 1980, 'Guilty'. This was a clasic collaboration between Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb which not only became Barbra's most successful album ever, but also spawned 4 Top 10 hits, including 'Woman In Love' & the title track, a duet entitled 'Guilty'!!
